It’s important to know that when it comes to our fabrication processes and finishes; they are done with nature’s preservation in mind and carried out in the most sustainable manner possible.

There is little to no waste in our production process at Style de Vie, as each furnishing is individually hand-crafted for you.  This efficient manufacturing process is formulated to reduce our impact on the environment.

• We sandblast to refinish our furniture, versus acid or chemical stripping – which is extremely toxic
• We do not use wet paint (which has harmful VOC/gases), instead we powder coat
• We use cornstarch “peanuts” and recycled cardboard boxes for shipping
• We manufacture locally instead of out of state or overseas, thus reducing reliance on shipping companies and the enormous amounts of gases they emit into our atmosphere.
• 90% of the moldings we use for our frames come from recycled wood
• We source most of our vintage/salvage items locally
