Glass is a wonderful and architecturally clean surface that the house designers of Style de Vie are utilizing to push the design envelope in non-traditional ways. From a beautifully sleek table top to architectural applications creating subtle privacy, glass can provide texture, light and more space to a room.

Basic glass options are:

Annealed (a standard glass that has not been treated for high traffic/safety area concerns)
Tempered (has been specially treated break into square shaped pieces upon impact, used for high traffic areas, i.e., an entryway door)

Standard glass thicknesses are:

• 1/4” (suggested to cover existing tops or small shelves)
• 3/8” (suggested for tops or shelves with encompassing external support)
• 1/2” (suggested for tops or shelves with little support
• 3/4” (suggested in applications where glass is the main design element or very little structure is involved)
• Style de Vie can accommodate special requirements for glass thicknesses via a custom fabrication order.
